Room at Sandwell home transformed into art gallery
The front room of a Black Country home has been transformed into an art gallery, inviting the public in to enjoy an exhibition.
Following a successful event back in December, classical musician Melissa Morris and photographer Marcin Szymczak have decided to once again open up their two front rooms on Rathbone Road in Bearwood to art enthusiasts.
Melissa said: "There has been a lot of hate around in the world recently and we want to do this to show the good in the community.
"We display the work of local artists, and want to help raise their profile.
"We had a lot of people come to our last event in December, and we hope word will spread again this time."
The exhibition, which launched yesterday, includes work in a variety of forms, including mosaics and acrylic work.
