Glenn Hughes working on new album
Cannock-born rock hero Glenn Hughes has been keeping fans updated on his return to the studio – just weeks after the death of his mother.
The former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath bassist and singer shared photographs from Sunset Sound studio in Hollywood on his Twitter page, teasing that details of his work will be released soon.
It marks a leap back into work for Hughes, 64, after the death of his mother Sheila on February 1.
The new photographs show the rocker clutching his Ibanez bass guitar at the world famous studio, where more than 200 Gold records have been recorded, including Prince's Purple Rain and The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds.
They come after Hughes shared pictures of his super-group Black Country Communion at the same studio in January.
The star, who also fronted Wolverhampton band Trapeze, tweeted: "Layin' it all down in Hollywood @sunsetsound – album details soon."
