There's nothing so strange as human behaviour.

And Sheila's MHS will shine the spotlight on the way people act when it plays to a near sell-out audience at Lichfield Garrick's Studio Theatre tonight.

Sheila-M will perform her one woman show, which combines humour with a look at mental health.

Venue spokeswoman Rhiannon Brearley says: "This show will make you laugh, cry – hopefully not at her jokes and will show you why life is too serious to be taken seriously – besides no-one gets out alive anyway."

Meanwhile, The Garrick will feature a new production of The Emperor's New Clothes on Tuesday.

Rhiannon adds: "The new romp, based on the timeless Hans Christian Anderson story, tells the story of an Emperor who loves clothes more than anything. But despite a wardrobe the size of Paris he hasn't got a stitch to wear."

The show features puppets, music and song and is suitable for children aged three and over.
