Opening the show were heavy metal three piece Puppy and American punk rockers Energy.

Acting as main support for the evening were punk rockers Milk Teeth following the release of their debut record 'Vile Child' on Hopeless Records early last year.

Full of energetic and catchy songs, Milk Teeth warmed the crowd up a treat.

A special shout out should go to guitarist Billy Hutton who acted as a walking meme for the evening wearing a Louis Theroux t-shirt whilst leading the crowd through a sing through of Smash Mouth's 'All Star'.

After the excellent reception of their debut record 'Eternity, In Your Arms' upon its release a couple of weeks ago, the atmosphere was electric before horror-punk outfit Creeper took to the stage.

Noted for their sense of theatre and over the top nature within their music, it's obvious that this translates into the live performance also as the band is backed by a giant backdrop from the interior of a church as well as being joined on the stage by giant purple crosses.

Performing a set spanning both their debut record as well as their previous three EP's, its tracks such as 'Suzanne' and 'Hiding With Boys' that work best in the live environment with their big sing along chorus's.

And oh boy, did the people sing along.

Considering the album has only been out a couple of days, it was clear that fans had already learnt the majority of the material and it was as warmly received as their older songs.

Tracks such as 'Poison Pens' and 'VCR' saw the tempo rise before slowing it down on tracks such as 'Crickets' and 'Misery'. 'Crickets' also saw an opportunity for keyboardist Hannah Snowdown to take centre stage and steal the spotlight for a track.

It's obvious that Creeper are made for bigger stages, if only highlighted by the fact that lead vocalist Will Gould fell over various band members and himself on multiple occasions.

Creeper certainly have an air around them that would make you're believe they're certainly taking the right path and it will be great to see where that ends up taking them.
