Kiefer Sutherland to play Birmingham gig

Hollywood star Kiefer Sutherland is coming to Birmingham - but he's not filming scenes for a new season of 24. He's playing music.

The actor, now aged 50, is best known for his roles in The Lost Boys, 24, Stand By Me and Phone Booth.

But, also being a singer-songwriter, Kiefer now plays country music - and is touring to showcase his new Americana-style album Down In A Hole.

He will play the O2 Academy on June 21.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Wednesday at 9am.
