Andy Fairweather Low to perform in Stafford

Sixties pop star Andy Fairweather Low will perform in Stafford later this month.

The singer, former lead singer with Amen Corner, will perform at the Gatehouse Theatre with his band The Low Riders.

His early hits include Bend Me Shape Me and If Paradise is Half As Nice.

He went on to work with the likes of Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, The Who, BB King, Van Morrison and Joe Cocker.

A more recent highlight included being the opening act for Eric Clapton's 70th birthday tour starting at Madison Square in New York.

He will perform at the Stafford Gatehouse on February 26.
