Cadbury World celebrating record visitor numbers

One of the West Midlands biggest family attractions is celebrating after it reached a new visitor record for December.

Cadbury World welcomed more than 44,000 visitors to its Christmas events in 2016.

This is a two per cent increase on the visitor figures for the same period in 2015.

Overall, Cadbury World was visited by more than 648,000 people in 2016, making it one of the busiest years yet for the attraction.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: "Once again, we've had a very successful year.

"Our Christmas celebrations were the most well received yet which boosted our visitor numbers and ended the year on a high.

"We're really pleased that Cadbury World continues to be such a popular destination for families across the UK.

"We have a jam packed schedule of family entertainment and themed activities for the year ahead."
