RSM Stage Academy of Performing Arts, based in Wednesfield, will hold the event at its state-of-the-art complex in Wednesfield Business Park, Waddens Brook Lane, on Friday.

Academy Principle and Creative Director Richard Meredith said: "Whatever your ambition, come along and make it happen.

"There are brand new exciting opportunities happening at the academy in 2017. We will be holding new lessons, we have a new dance company and performing arts agency, and we are working in conjunction with a record label. We will also be holding a production at the 02 Academy in London."

The academy offers classes in singing, dancing, acting and caters for all ages and levels of skill. Mr Meredith said live performances would be held during the open day event along with tours of its facilities.

He said: "Potential students can discuss opportunities with us about what we offer. They will be able to find out about our performing arts agency, and opportunities to expand into film and television." He added: "I have been running the academy for six years and built it from scratch. The teachers are so passionate here about we do and we want to install that in the students."

The academy is a Council for Dance Education and Training recognised stage school.

Booking for open day, from 6pm to 9pm, is recommended by calling Mr Meredith on 01902 725100 or 07583 849316 or by visiting rsmacademy.co.uk.
