West Midland Safari Park seeks 200 seasonal staff

A recruitment drive is being held by West Midland Safari Park for 200 seasonal workers.

A variety of roles are on offer including retail and admissions, food and beverages, games, venues, learning, facilities and wildlife.

The positions are for zero-hour contracts and the work will run from February 1 to November 5.

A special recruitment day will be held at the park on January 8.

The event is being held in park's Treetops Pavilion and the day will consist of two parts.

Candidates will be invited to explore the many opportunities on offer and speak to those who already work at the park to find out what life is like there.

Human resources officer, Zoe Croton, said: "The start of every season is a really exciting time at the safari park.

"We are delighted to be able to re-design our seasonal recruitment for 2017. By introducing a recruitment day it will allow new and returning candidates to explore the many opportunities the park has to offer.

"The fair will be set in a relaxed and welcoming environment, which will set the tone for the day.

"We have also called upon the expertise of existing members of the team to support the event.

"They will give candidates a great insight into the park.
