Friday night's got Seedy Sonic's bringing the Peace parade to The Rainbow Venues. The in-house brand has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and for this edition they're channelling the peace and love of the 70s into an event that aims to push a positive message though the power of music. There's a full venue transformation, interactive performers and fancy dress all presided over by New York Transit Authority, Klose One, Mistanoize and the Seedy Sonics Residents.

Over in Moseley, Ninja Tune's DJ Food (pictured) is in town delivering a full audio visual showcase at The Dark Horse as he captivates the senses and delivers an evening full of electronic sounds from Breaks to Electro to Funk to Hip-Hop. Meanwhile down at Nightingales, Soit Goes have got Danny T over for a night full of Bass Music, House, UK Garage and Bassline that goes straight through from 10 until 6.

Elsewhere the Tunnel Club has got a dose of Drum & Bass on offer. To finish Friday off, The Midlands' only Northern Soul and Motown venue The Night Owl has got Le Freak and the talents of DJ's Lee Fisher and Richard Buckley to finish off the month with a night of disco and funk.

Saturday sees a double bill of Drum & Bass on offer. PST supplies the jungle vibes with a Ruffneck Ting takeover, the Bristol / Birmingham sound will be strong with this one and they've got the mighty Serial Killaz alongside Aries, Jinx, Dazee, K-Jah, Vytol, Habitat and Skant to keep you moving till the sun comes up again! Over at Rainbow, Hospitality is in session with a tonne of artists down for the ride.

Amusment 13 sees it's mighty system getting tested by the Sum Cellar crew, for a night of murky wobbles and moody dark sounds. After the strength of their recent feature on Brum Radio, this one begs not to be missed. Lab11 has the Acid Experiment in the house for their first party since the mighty Fabio and Grooverider and to keep at that level they've got Tomola B2B Tom Shorterz, Billy Bayliss, Karrem, Neiyyar and all their residents down for a 90s style explosion of glow sticks whistles and Acid House.

The Hare & Hounds as usual has a high calibre booking, this time curated by Moodfix who've employed the talents of Ishmael.
