[gallery] Halesowen's wheelchair tennis superstar Jordanne Whiley MBE switched on the town's Christmas lights to get the festive season well and truly under way.

The 24-year-old Paralympics medal winner, who has won every doubles Grand Slam tournament, flicked the switch in Halesowen town centre last night as huge crowds filled the streets.
The day's fun started earlier, with family entertainment including giant fairground rides, fire eaters, a giant dancing robot and live entertainment on the stage.
