Chase and Status gearing up for Birmingham show

EDM stars Chase & Status have built their careers by collaborating with big-name acts like Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Rihanna, Example and Tinie Tempah.

But BRIT-nominated Saul Milton and Will Kennard, who met at university in Manchester, have also enjoyed huge success with their three solo albums. Their debut, More Than A Lot, earned a gold disc, the follow-up, No More Idols, was a number two hit that was certified double platinum, while their third release, Brand New Machine, was also a number two hit and earned a silver disc.

The duo will headline Birmingham's O2 Academy on Thursday, bringing their unrivalled live show to the Second City. Having toured and performed at arenas and festivals across the globe, including headlining festival stages at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and Global Gathering, the group are looking forward to playing live. They will be supported by Frisco, Dimension and DJ Maximum.

Will said: "It's mad to think it's been 13 years since we released our first tune. We are truly blessed to be making a fourth album and have the careers that we do.

"We are still two friends who love drum and bass, we are just older. We never thought we'd be in this position with the accolades, the live show and nearly four albums under our belt."
