The Littleton, opened by Walsall College as part of its £11 million businesses and sports hub, is rated in the top ten on the TripAdvisor Website.

Headed up by AA rosette-winning chefs, Steve Biggs and Paul Ingleby, the 40-seat bistro focuses on British cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.

To celebrate its success, the restaurant on Littleton Street West has launched special four-course lunch and six-course dinner Christmas menus, which are available for bookings from November 28 to December 23.

Davinia Biggs, the manager at the restaurant, said: "All of the reviews we've received so far have given us five stars, which is great testament to the hard work and efforts our chefs and their team put in to ensuring guests have an outstanding dining experience.

"Our vision when we first opened was to offer a high-quality bistro dining experience with good food in a modern setting and we are delighted that diners are coming from far afield.

"We see a real mix of customers from business professionals at lunch and early evening for after work drinks, to families and friends celebrating special occasions with evening meals."

The Littleton, located in The Hub next to Walsall College's Wisemore Campus, is also creating chefs of the future through its apprenticeship programme.
