Pizza Express, Zizzi and the Handmade Burger Company coming to Lichfield

Pizza Express, Zizzi and the Handmade Burger Company are the latest names to confirm they will join the new multi-million pound Friarsgate development in Staffordshire.

The scheme, which will join directly on to the Three Spires Shopping Centre in Lichfield, will comprise 25 shops, seven food and drink outlets, a gym, 82 apartments and 11 houses.

The Light Cinema also recently confirmed it would also be bringing a seven-screen venue to Friarsgate.

The scheme, which has gained planning permission from Lichfield District Council, is estimated to deliver 660 full-time jobs and boost the city's shopping turnover from £55million to £107million by 2022.

Council leader Mike Wilcox said he council was 'thrilled' Friarsgate was attracting interest of such high quality brands.
