Party Piece is a comedy play, which sees a fancy dress house-warming party go terribly wrong with a string of disasters.

It will be staged at All Saints Church in West Bromwich from Tuesday, November 8, until Friday, November 11.

All Saints Players have been putting performances together for 38 years.

Paul Bailey, director, said: "I've been producing plays for 14 or 15 years now and I try to find a challenge.

"My son was part of All Saints Players back in 1994 and asked me to paint the backdrop for their play at the time, The Ghost Train.

"I then ended up joining the Players group after they asked me to learn a few lines shortly before I started directing the plays themselves. Party Piece is a challenge in all sorts of ways as it has lots of movements, lots of lines and a difficult set and props.

"We normally have an indoor set with a typical desk and so on but this is an outdoor set which is a challenge for all of us including the technical staff.

He added: "I have a fantastic team around me, the set designers, lighting crew, electricians and the cast themselves. It's like a family."

Tickets start at £4 and are available by calling 0121 588 4786.
