The Walsall-born star, who has been a Bond villain, an EastEnders bad guy and a Celebrity Big Brother Contestant, is the latest famous name to be featured in Stars In Their Cars show on the Travel Channel.

Tomorrow's episode, which will be screened at 9pm, sees the 51-year-old meet the show's host Paddy McGuinness outside his old house in Walsall, where he gets the keys to an old Toyota Corolla GL.

As the pair cruise around the town on their way to Wolverhampton, Goldie shares tales of what it was like growing up in the area and being in and out of care between the ages of three to 18.

He said: "Turning 18 was like being given your freedom. I had the car and was going to all the parties, it was like the shackles are off. Your first car and your first taste of being an adult is what it's all about. You never forget those times."

They then move on to Heath Town, Wolverhampton and the Low and High Level station, where Goldie shows off graffiti that he's done. He said: "I must have done about 120 illegal pieces on this estate.

Next up for the pair is an old Mercedes Cosworth 190E saloon, lowered, decked out with a full leather interior and sports suspension. This was one of Goldie's main runarounds after hitting the big time in the jungle music scene in London.
