X Factor stars Reggie and Bollie to flick Christmas lights switch at Merry Hill
Merry Hill shopping centre has announced details of its major Christmas light switch-on event.
X Factor stars Reggie and Bollie are set to flick the light switch following performances from current X Factor contestants Freddy Parker and Christian Burrows.
Ghanaian duo, Reggie and Bollie, shot to fame in 2015 when they finished as runners-up on the 12th series of the X Factor. Jack Pack, Britain's Got Talent finalists from 2014, will also be appearing at the event.
Free Radio presenters Ed Nell, Jo and Sparky and Naomi Kent will be hosting proceedings.
The event, which takes place tomorrow, begins at midday before the switch on at 6pm.
Shopping centres owner Intu Properties is to invest £85 million over the next two years to improve its Merry Hill complex, but it says the impact of the closure of 10 BHS stores could reduce the level of rental income growth this year. The group is to re-model the now vacant BHS store at its intu Merry Hill site.
