Rick Astley to play Cannock Chase's Forest Live show
Eighties and 90s star Rick Astley will perform at next year's Forest Live gig.
The live music event - which takes place annually at Cannock Chase - will next year see Rick perform at the beauty spot on Saturday, July 8.
The star is best known for hits such as Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever.
He is the first artist to confirm dates as part of the Forest Live shows.
Speaking ahead of the shows, Rick said: "2017 sees me celebrating 30 years in the music business since my first No 1 hit.
"I can't wait to perform as a part of Forest Live and I really hope you can make one of the dates to enjoy the experience with me."
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England's forests and woodlands. Over Forest Live's 16-year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.
Tickets, priced at £36.50 (plus a £4.15 booking fee), go on sale this Friday at 9am.
