Wolverhampton students' art in city exhibition
Works by some of the very best up-and-coming artists are being exhibited at the annual University of Wolverhampton MA show.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery, in Lichfield Street, is hosting the show featuring the work of more than 50 MA students from the Fine Art, Applied Arts and Digital and Visual Communication courses, as well as the university's artists in residence.
Visitors will be treated to diversity in creative thinking in painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics, installations, graphics, photography, illustration, audio-visual and multi-media.
Among the artists exhibiting is Joanne Burgess, aged 44, from Stourbridge, who has completed her masters in Design and Applied Arts.
Joanne's installation focuses on altered states and uses a spiral of handmade and designed gothic-inspired wallpapers.
It runs until Monday and is free.
