Lisa Oakley, aged 47, has a series of her paintings from around the county on display at the Stafford landmark.

The paintings feature various spots from around the county, including Cannock Chase, Doxey Marshes and views of Milford.

Mrs Oakley, who is married with two children, aged 14 and 12, said of her exhibition: "They are predominantly little paintings done on site at the locations.

"The majority of them are done in and around Staffordshire on site, while a few are studio pieces. I like to work on site and outside like painters like Monet did. I like the trees and rivers around Shugborough, they make for lovely paintings." Asked for her favourite in the collection, Mrs Oakley added: "They are all special to me and I have a great fondness of them all.

"There was one I did down in London for Sky Arts which I had to battle the elements and time to get done, so I am proud of that. But I like them all."
