Up for grabs for the lucky winners, are prizes including iPads, VIP animal experiences, annual passes and admission passes.

All shortlisted entries will be displayed at an exhibition at the park during weekends in January 2017.

Competition organiser and head of learning, Caroline Richards, said: "We are pleased to be able to offer such a fantastic opportunity which recognises the talents of up and coming wildlife artists and photographers. Plus it is fantastic to see the animals that live at the Park from the viewpoint of our guests."

She added: "Last year was an overwhelming success and we are looking forward to seeing even more entries this year. There are a number of categories available including young artist, photography in black and white and contemporary art, so hopefully something for everyone. "

Photographers can enter up to five of their best photos, whilst artists will be in with the chance of winning by entering up to three pieces of artwork.
