Craig Charles set for The Station show in Cannock
Former Coronation Street and Red Dwarf star Craig Charles will be appearing in Staffordshire this evening.
The BBC Radio 6 DJ is bringing his Funk and Soul Club night to The Station music venue, in Cannock, inside the former home of Cannock Progressive Working Men's Club above Cannock Shopping Centre.
Charles' TV roles include Dave Lister in science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf and Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street.
He also presented the gladiator-style game show Robot Wars and narrated the comedy endurance show Takeshi's Castle.
He performs DJ sets at numerous clubs and festivals, nationally and internationally.
His successful Funk and Soul radio show started in 2002. Tickets are priced from £13.20.
