The internationally-renowned, gravity-defying show will be at Shugborough Hall until Sunday.

Its latest production is based on the Russian folklore story of Cvetik-Semicvetik, or 'the flower with seven colours' by Valentin Petrovich Katayev, where each of the petals represents a wish.

Wizard Wacko and crazy sidekick Natalia Mezentceva invite the audience to a wondrous and mysterious enchanted garden to see magnificent feats of human achievement, including flying, back-flipping, juggling, wire-walking and roller-skating performers.

This year show features the award-winning troupe Leontiv on flying parallel bars, and Stynka ensemble on the horizontal bouncing Russian bar.

The show is making its first European tour in an air-conditioned big top. For more details and tickets, visit www.moscowstatecircus.com
