Dudley Zoo to charge £1 child entry in honour of International Red Panda Day
Dudley Zoo is offering children entry for £1 to mark International Red Panda Day.
The zoo will be shining the spotlight on its Tibetan two, Yasmin and Gawa, throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors will be able to find out more about this vulnerable species during a talk and feed at 2.15pm each day.
Curator Richard Brown, said: "We're proud to support International Red Panda Day as our red pandas are some of our most popular animals here at Dudley Zoo and because of their red and fluffy appearance, it's not difficult to see why.
"We hope people will visit us this weekend and take the opportunity to discover more about these fantastic creatures."
As well as the additional talk, there will also be a red panda information display in the Discovery Centre where our younger visitors can take part in red panda mask making and crafts.
To gain the £1 child entry, visitors must download and print a voucher from the zoo's website.
The zoo is home to more than 1300 animals, and has nigh on 200 species, including some of the rarest creatures on Planet Earth.
