Joe Brown to chat and sing for the public at Dudley Town Hall

Rock 'n' roll veteran Joe Brown will be talking about his long career in music as well as playing some of his best known songs on a visit to the Black Country.

His new show Just Joe will be presented in Dudley Town Hall on October 7, at the start of a UK tour which will run to December.

Just Joe will feature stories and jokes from his long career, including his early days, growing up in a pub in London's East End.

He discovered skiffle and became a rock and roll pioneer and touring with the likes of Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and Gene Vincent, before headlining shows with the Beatles as opening act.

He will be joined for some of his songs by American guitarist Henry Gross, who founded the chart-topping group Shah Na Nah and was the youngest musician to play at the Woodstock festival.
