Lindsey Grant, aged 24, of Wolverhampton, runs Linzi G School of Dance, based in Wednesfield, and has always been a fan of Disney films.

She is currently at Disneyland Florida for a family holiday.

Her pupils, who range from three-years-old to adults, arranged a special surprise for their teacher after they found out how much dining with a Disney princess would mean to her.

Kath Nock's two daughters, Alison, aged seven, and Sonia, aged four, helped to arrange the special dinner.

Ms Nock, of Cheslyn Hay, said: "We found out that she would love to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Castle but it was way too expensive.

"So Steve Childs, who is father to five-year-old pupil Amelia, and myself set about making her dream come true."

Lindsey, who has raised £6,000 for charities, got to meet Snow White

Steve managed to get a reservation for the Monday bank holiday by finding some of the Disney cast members on social media and telling them the story.

That way, even though the restaurant is usually booked up at least six months in advance, he managed to get a reservation for two.

Then the parents set up a crowdfunding page to pay for it.

In three hours the page had hit its target and surpassed it by more than £250.

"We got £455 in the end which Lindsey and her boyfriend James can spend at Disney," Ms Nock added.

The 28-year-old met all the princesses, including Sleeping Beauty

"I think this just shows how much Lindsey in loved by all her dance students, parents and friends."

Lindsey has raised over £6,000 in three years for local charities.

Along with the pupils at the school, her colleagues and people at Willenhall Musical Theatre company and The Phoenix Theatre Company, where she is choreographer, also helped with the surprise. A special video of the surprise being announced was released on YouTube and Facebook, which showed Lindsey's reaction to the news.

The video showed some of Lindsey's pupils blow pixie dust into the camera before the big reveal. Upon hearing the news Lindsey burst into tears. Lindsey trained at the Sheila Groom school of dance based on Stafford Road in Wolverhampton.

Sheila Groom has been teaching in the city for more than 70 years.

Her pupils are involved in dance and art sectors all over the country.
