Malcolm Brice, who is 57 and lives in Chuckery, Walsall, took his camera to different UK cities and snapped away as part of the work for Looking for Clues.

The exhibition at The Crossing at St Paul's on Darwall Street is a collection of those – and includes 20 pictures from Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle, Stoke and others.

"It took about a month to put together but this particular project has been going on for two and a half years.

"I did quite a lot of work with Walsall Community Arts and I work part time at the Art Gallery. I have been back in Walsall and this is my first exhibition since then.

The Lumley Road resident travelled extensively as a photo manager for Princess Cruises, visiting China, Russia and Japan, amongst other countries, working for the company for a decade.

"I shot them through a Fuji camera. I don't get any bother from people.

"You have to do that sometimes because security guards are such a pain. If you're looking through windows and if you have got a big DSLR people say: 'you cannot do that here'.

The exhibition is on until next month. For more information visit www.thecrossingatstpauls.co.uk
