Cannock Shopping Centre has put out a call for singers and performers as part of its new 'Buskstop' campaign, which will see the centre opening its doors every Saturday to musicians from a variety of genres.

The campaign offers musicians the chance to raise money for their chosen charity, school or local club by busking in the centre to crowds of shoppers.

Natal Chapman, centre manager of Cannock Shopping Centre, said: "This campaign is a fantastic way to help bring the community together whilst raising money for great organisations.

"It also allows our shoppers an opportunity to discover new talent in the Cannock area.

"We are very much looking forward to Saturdays in the shopping centre and we hope our shoppers are too."

Those wishing to register their interest simply need to submit a mp3, video or YouTube clip link of them performing to cannocksc@pmwcom.co.uk

It should be submitted along with their name, age, a short description of their musical talents and the name of the charity or organisation they would like to raise money for.
