WATCH: Wednesbury mother is top of the pops
When singer Laura Aston posted her latest singing video to Facebook, she never expected to it to rack up millions of views.
The 23-year-old enjoys singing and posts videos to her fans on Facebook that receive thousands of views.
But her most recent post, a cover of Dance With My Mother by Luther Vandross, has gone viral.
"The response has been absolutely amazing," said Laura.
"It is a cover of Dance With My Father but I changed the lyrics to My Mother.
"I thought it was a beautiful idea. I would like to dedicate this song to everyone who's mom is flying high with the angels."
Her video has now been seen more than 2.3 million times. Laura set up a Facebook page to showcase her singing, called 'Laura Aston'.
She now hopes to keep building her success online and take her singing further.
"Social media is so powerful, it is the best way to get yourself heard," she said."
Laura, who works at RAC, lives with partner David Jones and two-year-old daughter, said she has seen an increase in bookings. She said: "It has just blown up since my video went viral."
