The events kicked off this week with the first of five Tuesday have-a-go leathercraft sessions, running from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

Each Tuesday for five weeks children will have the opportunity to make a different item from leather, including an owl brooch, a pen case and a drawstring pouch.

Each item costs £1 to make and places do not need to be booked in advance.

Today sees the return of the Wednesday Club, which will be led by a different artist each week.

For further information, or to make a booking, the museum can be contacted on 01922 652288.
