Imagine That! will include an outdoor pyjama party, giant buzzing bees, a travelling garden that never dies and a mobile 'Ant'.

Events get under way this Saturday as children are invited to bring their parents and dress up in onesies for an evening under the stars at the Big Wild Pyjama Party with RSPB.

Budding Scouts are encouraged to head to Sandwell Valley for storytelling and marshmallow toasting around the campfire, wildlife walks, bat walks, moth trapping, comedy and films.

As part of the season, Birmingham's Flatpack heads to the Black Country throughout the summer with a series of one-off pop-up film events.

A highlight to the program includes an open-air screening of The Bride of Frankenstein at Dudley Castle.

More than 500 people from community groups across the Black Country have helped the artistic team at Oldbury's Creative Arts to make a ceramic garden of more than 1,200 flowers that is currently at Tipton Library and will feature at Sandwell Valley and West Bromwich town centre in August.

A swarm of giant interactive bees will buzz around the Arts Cafe in West Bromwich during Sandwell Arts Festival on August, 13 and 14.

'The Ant', a converted three-wheeled Reliant Ant truck, has been turned into a mobile stage and will host puppet show Midsummer Mayhem on Saturday, August 13 and a mix of sounds from eastern Europe with Balkanic Eruption on Sunday 14.

The streets of West Bromwich come alive with performance during the same festival weekend with a variety of events.
