It's bostin' ay it the Black Country. That's why we now celebrate it every year with Black Country Day.

Black Country Day was started back in July 2012 by Steve Edwards as a festival to celebrate the region and has grown in popularity each year since.

Our region is known for its distinct dialect and industrial heritage that helped build Great Britain in the industrial revolution - and today is the day to salute our success.

From Walsall to Wolverhampton to Dubai (yes, Dubai) there's a heap of exciting events taking place to mark this year's celebrations.
