Sue Beech, WI member, who has helped to organise the event said: "We have a themed evening every year and previously we've had a Spanish theme, a French theme. When we looked to see where this year's meeting would fall, we saw it would be the July 4 so we had to have an American theme!"

The group , who has 37 members, has raised £608 for the Good Shepherd Ministry since last year.
