Costumes worn by Michael Caine, Richard Burton and Michael Douglas among items to go under hammer
A Nazi uniform worn by Richard Burton in the classic film Where Eagles Dare is expected to fetch thousands of pounds when it goes up for action next week.
Costumes worn by Michael Caine, Kirk and Michael Douglas are also being made available at a huge film and music memorabilia auction in the Black Country.
A host of James Bond memorabilia will be part of the lot in Dudley, including rare film posters which are expected to go for hundreds of pounds each.
Burton's uniform from the 1968 film is by far the most valuable piece in the collection and is expected to sell for between and £7,000 and £10,000. The actor, who famously married Elizabeth Taylor twice, was a huge star of the 1950s and 60s, and collectors will be keen to get their hands on the piece of movie history.
A Nazi leather bomber jacket worn by Michael Caine in The Eagle has Landed has a guide price of between £200 and £300 while two Michael Douglas uniforms from the film Shining Through could fetch between £50 and £100. There is also much for James Bond collectors to get excited about, with a plethora of memorabilia going under the hammer.
Original film posters from several films, including Licence to Kill and For Your Eyes Only will feature.
A film poster for Blue Hawaii, starring Elvis Presley, has a guide price of between £200 and £400.
The auction will take place at Baylies Hall in Tower Street at noon on June 30.
