Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing open air show in Stourbridge
One of the Bard's most famous comedies will be brought in front of a new audience next month.
The Rotary Club of Stourbridge is working with a production company to stage the show on July 2.
Madcap Theatre Productions will present its version of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
The show has been sponsored by the rotary club as the country marks the 400th anniversary since the Bard's death.
The outdoor performance will be staged in the grounds of Mary Stevens Hospice, in Oldswinford, Stourbridge. Patrons are invited to bring their own seats and rugs to the grounds, off Hagley Road, to watch the play.
The grounds will be open from 5.30 pm for picnics prior to the performance which begins at 7pm.
Tickets for the performance are £13 for adults and £11 under 16s.
These can be bought in advance by calling 01384 376865 or 01384 371999.
