The building has arrived at The Grove stadium after the club's owner Steve Lynch spotted it for sale on ebay.

It had previously appeared in the Sky One sitcom The Cafe, which starred Ralf Little, and there is even talk of getting the actor to officially unveil the new addition to the ground.

Mr Lynch thought the building would be perfect to enhance fans' matchday experience when he spotted it advertised online for £5,000. As it was used as a TV set, it was only partially built and has needed to undergo work to make it complete.

It has already been used by fans but is expected to be open permanently from next season.

Fans will be able to buy hot food and tea and coffee before matches as well as at half time and full time. Finishing touches are currently being put to its interior.

Mr Lynch said: "It is something unique and unusual, I thought it would be great for the fans. It will be an indoor cafe. At the moment we have got cabins but people have to stand outside. It will improve the facilities in the ground. There will be a disabled toilet in there, too."

Ralf Little is known for roles in The Royal Family and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. The Cafe TV show ran between 2011 and 2013.

The building featured in 13 episodes and was sited on the seafront at Weston-super-Mare.
