Chuckle Brothers present charity cheque
A lucky lottery winner is celebrating after scooping £5,000 in a charity competition.
Compton Hospice Lottery winner Linda Jones was over the moon to scoop the jackpot.
And her win was given a boost when she was presented with her cheque from the stars of Wolverhampton Grand Theatre's pantomime, The Chuckle Brothers – Paul and Barry.
Mrs Jones, aged 68, from West Bromwich, has been a regular player of Compton Hospice Lottery for more than 10 years, but has only ever won £5 on previous occasions.
She said: "I nearly fainted when I found out.
"I was absolutely amazed, I couldn't believe it at first, I was really taken aback.
"I didn't really believe them that it was true at first. I am going to be using the money to help refurbish the house, we have planned the refurbishment for a long time, but now we have got the money we can do it a bit better than we thought."

"We would like to say thank you to them for continuing to host us and to everyone that has played."
The Wolverhampton-based charity has been supporting patients facing life-limiting illnesses, and their families, for more than 30 years.
