People can win a £25 gift card by guessing the number of items in a wardrobe and children can also win big by drawing a birthday card to celebrate Ikea's silver anniversary. A photo booth will also be installed in the store with all Ikea family members to take home a special birthday photo.

Debbie Hughes, Ikea Birmingham store manager, said: "In the last quarter of a century, Ikea has grown as a company in the UK and become an integral part of many people's lives.

"We've now been open for 25 years, and want to thank our customers for making the store such a success.

"We are delighted to offer a selection of fantastic offers, as well as some fun activities to make your trip to your store this weekend extra special."

Celebrations will take place from January 25 to 31.
