The Young Ones and Their Guests are putting the finishes touches to their performance of The Wizard of Oz.

The group is made up of a talented group of seven to 18-year-olds.

The first showing will be at the Netherton Art Centre on Saturday. Director and choreographer Audrey Hepwood, who has been involved with the group for 30 years, said things are looking good.

The group will conduct a dress rehearsal tomorrow ahead of the premiere three days later.

Mrs Hepwood said: "The likes of Cinderella, Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty are all great fun, but we've done them all over the years and this is more of a newish one."

The shows start on Saturday and run until January 30.

Evening performances start at 7.15pm with matinee shows on the weekend beginning at 2.30pm.
