The museum has just unveiled a portrait in which local artist Percy Shakespeare presents a study of a contemporary Dudley artist Alan R. Young. The sketch of Mr Young was completed 87 years ago, in December 1928 and was recently donated by Alan Young's daughter, Bridget Robinson.
Other highlights include an exhibition from Stourbridge artist Glen Brookes, who has contributed a number of murals including the current Great War exhibition. Glen, who has spent the last year working with acclaimed artist Damian Hurst, is now taking centre stage with an exhibition of his own work in the Community Gallery.
