Reindeer visit Sandwell farm for first time
A little bit of the North Pole came to Sandwell Park Farm with reindeer at the site for the very first time.
Two reindeer – Candycane and Gingerbread – gave visitors to the farm in West Bromwich a real festive feeling over the weekend.
They helped the farm achieved one of its busiest Christmas events on record.
Projects manager Jo Miskin said: "We wanted to improve the visitor experience to make sure kids had an exciting visit to Sandwell Park Farm.
"I think we also wanted to make the place as Christmassy as possible and it's really worked.
"The reindeer have been incredibly popular. We had them here overnight on Saturday, we stabled them and then they were back out on Sunday for members of the public. They were very friendly and brought a bit of the North Pole to West Bromwich."

Mr Miskin said people of all ages had loved the reindeer.
"Both kids and adults have really enjoyed seeing them," he said.
"I think for people it came as a bit of surprise to walk around the farm and see a couple of reindeer."
Staff at the farm collected debris from the area after Storm Barney struck and made them into wooden reindeer.
