He brings his special brand of tricks and cunning to the Barclaycard Arena on the five-night run which finishes on Sunday.

And the star says that he is excited to be bringing his show to Midland audiences this week.

"I think my show is probably one of the only shows in the UK that's fully inclusive. I have really tried my hardest to keep it intimate in a massive space," he said.

Dynamo hit TV screens across the nation four years ago with his first series of Magician Impossible.

Since then he has quickly established himself as one of the world's best known magicians, with his series airing in more than 180 countries worldwide and reaching over 250 million viewers across the world.

The shows that precede his run in Birmingham have gathered rave reviews from fans.

Dynamo has stunned audiences around the world with his large-scale illusions, sleight of hand tricks and street magic through his television appearances.

But he says the thought of appearing in front of 2,000 people a night during the Birmingham leg of his tour was, until recently, a scary thought. "I'm generally quite a shy guy so the thought of going out in front of thousands of people petrified me, but the last few shows I've done I've properly enjoyed," he says.

"I'm not a natural stage performer, I didn't go to stage school, I don't know about all the jazz hands stuff that professional actors do.

"Up until the last six weeks I'd never been on a stage. We built one in a warehouse in London and I spent six weeks performing the show to an empty room and having to imagine people."

Dynamo was born Steven Frayne and grew up in Bradford, only rising to fame late in his career.

His appearance in Birmingham comes as part of his first ever live tour.

A family ticket of four costs £99 plus fees.
