Gallery: Incredible turnout for Codsall Christmas fair
The first ever Codsall Christmas Fair has been hailed as a storming success by organisers.
For the first time, in addition to the traditional 'Carols around the Christmas Tree' event, Codsall residents were treated to a Christmas Fair with trade stalls, live music, hot food and a host of other events on Friday.

Visitors were treated to performances from the internationally-acclaimed juggler Steve Kaos, local band Sunhoney and soloist Sam Draisey.
Traditionally, the carol singing event attracts around 300 people, however the new fair brought in over 1,500 revellers. All funds raised from the evening's collection will go to the Tettenhall Rotary Club.
Chairman of the Codsall Christmas Fair Group, Lewis Stovin said: "The only word I can use to describe the evening is spectacular.
"It really has been unbelievable and I couldn't have asked for anything better.
"It has taken 12 months to put all of this together and it hasn't always been easy organising an event that involves so many people.
"It is something that we had high hopes for, but it exceeded anything we could have dreamt of.
"Not one person has come up to me with any negative feedback.
"I would like to thank everyone who has been involved from the start, all of the businesses who have helped us out and most importantly, the people who came along. This is a fantastic starting point and we hope to go one better next year."
Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, said of the event: "Joining Codsall residents for carols around the Christmas Tree is one of my favourite annual events.
"I am delighted to see that organisers have put so much effort in this year to make it such a huge community event.
"There is always an incredible turnout and such a wonderful festive atmosphere throughout the village.
"It is always great to see the Salvation Army and numerous other local organisations join in on the celebrations.
"As we all sing together, it really feels like Christmas has begun."
