The Dilshad in Chadsmoor, Cannock, won praise from judges in the Tiffin Cup, an annual competition which sees celebrities and industry experts choose the nation's best south Asian restaurant.

The aim is to celebrate the diversity of South Asian food in Britain and at the same time raise money for the charities Water Aid and World Vision.

The Dilshad was nominated as Cannock Chase's entry by Amanda Milling MP. The best restaurant from each region went forward to a national final at Bellamy's Restaurant next to the Palace of Westminster.
