She kicked off the weekend with a bit of Egyption-style glamour at a special gala evening but managed to be up, bright as a button, for a live radio show the next morning making one listener's Christmas.
The Formula One presenter was the host of the Promise Dreams gala evening, the Poppett's Party on the Nile, which was held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday.
Guests enjoyed a gala dinner and an evening of fundraising, while entertainment on the night was provided by Andy Bell of Erasure.

The star tweeted her delight at being back in the Midlands, saying: "Happy face as I approach #Wolverhampton – home again to host @promisedreams Gala eve. Looking forward to a dance off with @AndyBell_info." The next morning, Ms Perry, originally from Cosford and who presented Moto GP for 13 years on the BBC, took part in Radio 4's Saturday Morning Live programme which was broadcast live from a delighted listeners' house in Wolverhampton.
As part of it's Listener Week, producers accepted an invitation from Philip Farmer from Larches Lane near West Park to come to the city and broadcast live from his front room during Saturday morning's show.
Presenters Aasmah Mir and Reverend Richard Coles were joined by Ms Perry, who told listeners that her favourite place in the city was the Molineux stadium. She said: "I love coming back to Wolverhampton. The thing about Wolverhampton for me is the people. The community spirit is great and the sense of humour is as dark as you're going to get anywhere."
The Express & Star revealed last month that Suzi is to be recognised at next year's Wolverhampton's Famous Sons & Daughters event.
She will join Baroness Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Andy Tennant, cricketer Vikram Solanki and former Bank of England chief Mervyn King on the list of people named so far for the awards, which will take place on February 25 next year, with more award winners to come.
