Sunjay Brayne, from Brierley Hill, is preparing to launch his new LP Black and Blues at the end of this month.

To celebrate he will be returning to play at Katie Fitzgerald's, in Enville Road, Wollaston, on November 20.

The performer, who was nominated for The BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards in 2012, has been on tour this summer.

He was a music student at Kidderminster College and has headlined festivals across the country including the Wessex Folk Festival.

The 21-year-old's style is a blend between folk and blues and there have been a clutch of award nominations, including winning the Wath Festival Young Performers Award.

He made the final selection for the BBC's Young Folk Awards in 2012, had three nominations at the Exposure Music Awards 2014 and was also recognised by the 2014 British Blues Awards.

But he is returning to familiar ground at the venue which plays host to Stourbridge Folk Club which helps co-ordinate.

Doors open at 8pm. Tickets cost £8.80 including booking fee.
