Willard's little nod to Holder
Micro-sculptor Willard Wigan MBE will be including a special tribute to Black Country legend Noddy Holder in his upcoming exhibition.
The artist will create a sculpture of the Slade rocker when he exhibits at the Light House Media Centre in Wolverhampton next year. Wednesfield-born Wigan creates minute pieces of art which are displayed and viewed through microscopes.
The exhibition will open on March 12 at the centre in the city's Chubb Buildings with tickets on sale after Christmas.
Marketing manager Julie Homfray said: "For our 2016 Silver Screen Year – 25 years in The Chubb Buildings, we really want to shine a light on what is great culturally – right under our noses.
"We've already increased audiences by 50 per cent over the past three years - despite the recession – and Willard's exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to show an even wider audience why our venue should be supported."
