One Direction's Liam Payne splits from girlfriend
One Direction's Liam Payne has split from girlfriend of two years Sophia Smith, it has been reported.
The star, from Bushbury, is said to be 'incredibly sad' over the break-up. It comes just days after the boyband was forced to cancel one of their live shows in Belfast due to the singer falling ill.
A source close to the 22-year-old said: "Liam and Sophia have split.

"Liam is incredibly sad but is going to keep busy. He really hopes everybody will respect both his Sophia's privacy and will stop speculating."
On Saturday, Liam posted a message on his Twitter page saying: "I love how music is always there for you when you need it most x'.
The post has since been re-tweeted more than 150,000 times.
The couple first started dating in 2013 and had been friends since their school-days in Wolverhampton.
