Eclectic mix on offer at Garrick
An eclectic programme of events is in store at Lichfield's Garrick Theatre with music and drama to suit all tastes.
The fun will start tonight and tomorrow with a production of Mistresses. The stars of the sell-out shows Mutton and Madame Blavatsky Lives will return in the sensational new play by Joan Greening.
Beautiful music, fond memories and nostalgic moments are in store tonight when The Karpenters play tribute to seventies folk legends The Carpenters.
The Bee Gees Story will be retold on Saturday with Nights On Broadway, a tribute featuring the Gibb brothers' incredible songs from over four decades – from the sixties to the nineties.
The show gives the audience the experience of being at a Bee Gees concert, with a unique blend of classic hits, acoustic medleys and dance floor favourites.
Malcolm Stent will present an evening of variety on Wednsesday. He will be joined by John Stokes' Bachelors who rose to fame with songs such as Charmaine, Wonderful One, Diane and other old smoothies from the fifties and sixties. They will be joined by Maggie O'Hara and David Conway of The Three Monarchs, a mouth organist and more.
The week's entertainment will end on Thursday with a performance of Dracula Walks The Night in the Studio Theatre.
