JLS lead OsFest line-up

Up to 5,000 fans are expected to descend on Shropshire tonight for the annual OsFest rock festival. OsFest – Break For The Border will feature JLS, The Enemy, King Charles and many, many more.

James Arthur, who had been due to feature, has pulled out of the event, however. Other stars lined up for the event include Tich, Charlie Brown,The Pigeon Detectives, Lawson, AME, Lucy Spraggan, Waylayers.

Fans will also get a chance to see one of the region's most popular unsigned bands, Portlights, who will star at the event, having won a place in the 2012 final of Shropshire's Next Big Thing.

The spokesperson added: "We can only fit 5,000 people into our big top and tickets have been selling fast."

The fun will start tonight with a DJ set featuring Monki and tomorrow's line-up will feature JLS while Sunday will feature The Enemy. Other bands lined up to appear include Get Cubs, Propellers, Lewis Watson, The Lottery Winners, Gramo Tones, Rock And The Ravens, Beat The Poet, The Novatones, Dan The Thief and Salopia.

JLS's gig at OsFest will be their first in the county and fans can look forward to seeing J.B. Gill, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and Oritsé Williams. The quartet originally signed to Tracklacers production company New Track City and then went on to become runners-up of the fifth series of ITV reality talent show The X Factor in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke.

The Enemy, meanwhile, formed in Coventry in 2006 and became one of the UK's biggest indie bands, playing at Wembley Stadium in 2009.Their debut album We'll Live and Die in These Towns was released in 2007 and went straight to Number 1 in the UK Albums chart on release.
